Welcome to
Russo Espresso!
So you want to know a little more about Russo Espresso? How we started,
about the owners, what we're all about? This is the place.
First, Russo Espresso is the creation of three brothers: Angelo,
Gennaro (Jerry), and Michael; last name Russo of course. We grew up in
Westlake and all still live on the west side of Cleveland. We are a
pretty close family with Italian traditions, especially having lunch every
Sunday together at Mom's house.
So why did we open Russo Espresso? If there is one thing we are picky
about it is our food and where we eat. After years of being spoiled with
Mom's cooking, we wanted something healthier, of good quality, and close
by. We also love our espresso and it's difficult to get good espresso
anywhere. The reason is, the majority of people buy espresso-based
drinks, not straight espresso. So we needed to find espresso that worked
well on its own, and mixed well with cream, sugar, ice, etc. Example:
mochas, frappes, frappachino (Starbucks word). Don’t get me wrong, we
still have the best lattes around.
So this is why we use only the healthiest, highest quality
ingredients we could find. We also try to buy local most of the time. We
opened this shop for us to have outstanding coffee, a place to hang out,
and to eat a good variety of food daily.
We hope you stop by soon and give us a try. We believe you will love
